Palace on Wheels Tariff Your lifetime tour on
the Palace On Wheels doesn't cost a lot in comparisons to
services it offers to you. There are two types of tariff
applicable for the train depending on the time of your visit.
High Season tariff Applicable : October to March
Lean Season Discounted tariff Applicable : April &
September
This Tariff is inclusive of all the cost of travel, catering
which includes morning tea, breakfast, lunch, evening tea, and
dinner, sightseeing tours in deluxe coaches, entrance fee for
monuments and palaces, boat riding in Lake Palace Hotel at
Udaipur, Camel safari at Jaisalmer and many more entertainment
programs. Note: Tariff does not include laundry, liquor and other
items of personal nature.

The Palace On Wheels Tour Cost Includes :
Tariff is
inclusive of travel/ catering/ conducted sightseeing/ entrance
fee at monuments/ parks/ palaces/ cultural programs/ camelride at
Jaisalmer/ boat ride at Udaipur/ rickshaw ride at Bharatpur and
forstill cameras.
Guest has to pay for video cameras, liquor, laundry and other
items of personal nature.
Note :
Indian national can pay in equivalent rupee amount.
Tour cost includes : travel, all meals, escorted site seeing
tours with entrance fee.
Extra tariff for liqour, laundry, video camera entrance fee
(where applicable), gratuity & all other items of personal
nature.
Children between 5 to 12 years are to be charged 50% of the adult
fare.
Children below 5 years are complimentry without bed.
The tour can also be booked for minimum of 4 days.
Booking Procedure :
Booking will be confirmed on receipt of advance deposit only.
(1) We require 50% advance deposit to hold the booking.
(2) Balance 50% must reach us 60 days prior to tour departure
date.
Mode of Payment :
Payments can be made by Credit Card, Bank Tranfer, Bank
Cheque.
Cancellation Rules & Charges :
Bookings will be cancelled only on receipt of written
requests.
Cancellation Charges will be - In case of FIT
(1) 5% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 60 days prior
to departure.
(2) 20% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 30-59 days
prior to departure.
(3) 100% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled less than
30 days before departure.
Cancellation Charges will be - In case of GIT (GROUP)
(1) 10% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 60 days
prior to departure.
(2) 100% of ticket value charge, if booking cancelled 0-59 days
prior to departure.
Note : A group of 15 paying person will be called as group
booking.
No show /En route termination of tour / amendment :
(A) No show : In case of No show / Non-arrival of the guest no
refund / adjustment in future travel will be admissible.
(B) En route termination of tour: In case of termination of tour
by the guest, no refund/adjustment for future travel will be
admissible.
(C) Amendment : No charges will be levied for amended dates of
tour of Palace on Wheels and amendment will be permitted once
only subject to availablity.
For Charter bookings :
(1) Charter means booking of 52 cabins on a particular tour
departure.
(2) The charter can be booked on the existing Palace on Wheels
tour itnerary. However Diversion (outside the Rajasthan State) in
the approved itinerary can be permissible
after prior approval of Indian Railway for wihich an extra
payment of the 20 % of the charter value will be charged.
(3) No charter can be booked during X-Mas & New Year
period.
